Group Exercise Classes

Our large group class formats are perfect for members who need group motivation, have a positive and healthy competitive edge, or just want diversity in their exercise routines. These classes, which include Spin, Yoga, Pilates, Boxing, Zumba, and more, will be located in MSC’s beautiful new studio space. Classes are high-energy and most will include music playlists that will surely keep you moving! Come spend an hour with our passionate, charismatic and motivating group instructors. You will not be disappointed!





Cycle

This class will be just as much of an experience as it will be a workout! Designed for beginners and advanced bicyclists, all individuals can control the intensity of the workout by adjusting their bike settings accordingly. Come join our instructors who will lead you through a fun and challenging journey including a warm-up, steady cadences, sprints, hill climbs, cool downs, and stretching!



Full Body Strength and Conditioning

Our results-driven strength and conditioning class provides the most up-to-date knowledge to help your body achieve optimal health, improve performance, elevate your self-esteem, and develop lean muscle. Enjoy a unique experience using your bodyweight, TRX, dumbbells, and resistance bands to target major muscle groups that help you feel stable and confident during everyday activities. We invite you to join us as we get your heart rate up and move you into an improved, healthier version of yourself.

Dynamic Strength

Intensity: High
Coordination: High

This class exposes attendees to mobility drills, power, speed, coordination, and strength training. Prepare to be highly challenged utilizing your bodyweight, bands, and free weights using multi-joint and isolation exercises to increase athleticism

Station to Station

Intensity: Medium
Coordination: Medium
This full body workout covers it all! We will perform multiple rounds of various circuits - each circuit with a different focus i.e. balance, strength, explosiveness, and more! The time will fly by as we cover all of the main movements of presses, pulls, squats, and hinges. We will end each class with a conditioning circuit to end with a bang and start your Monday morning off strong!

Half-Hour of Power

Intensity: High
Coordination: High

Power is the number one attribute we lose as we age. By training power and speed, not only will we be better off in our later decades, but we will also increase our athleticism in the present. This class uses high impact, full-body movements with short bouts of work and short rest periods — training the cardiovascular system as a byproduct

Active Recovery

Intensity: Low
Coordination: Low
Transition out of your workday with a much needed, full body stretching session. Whether you’re rehabbing an injury or just need to relieve tension from the stress of the day, this class will have you feeling more at ease than when you walked in. We will perform a series of dynamic stretches for the entire body in a prone and supine position. We will also incorporate a few core activation exercises to help aid our postural muscles so we can stand tall and hold our heads up high.

Cardio Kickboxing

Get ready to kick and punch your way into fitness! This fun and empowering class combines the best of cardiovascular conditioning with the powerful and dynamic movements of kickboxing. All fitness levels are welcome in this motivating atmosphere that will not only shape your arms, legs, and core but will help you become more coordinated and resilient to take on life’s stressors. Whether you’re a kickboxing novice or have some experience, this class is adaptable to different fitness levels. Get ready to burn calories, reduce stress, and build confidence as you perspire your way to a healthier, stronger you! No gloves needed.

Foundation Fundamentals $10 per class

Dumbbells, Kettlebells, TRX, oh my! Are you new to the Fitness Center and aren't sure where to start? Or while you’re here perhaps you only take advantage of the treadmill or other cardio equipment? Let’s broaden your horizons! Learn a variety of foundational exercise movements focusing on proper form, technique and execution. Then take what you learn from class and have confidence in knowing what to do on your own as you venture out onto the fitness floor.

Power Yoga

Power yoga is a full-body workout focusing on building strength and endurance to help increase heart rate while burning calories. This class combines a blend of Vinyasa-style poses and hand weights for a dynamic and meditative experience that emphasizes flowing from one pose to the next rather than approaching each post separately, like more traditional styles of yoga. This fast-paced and intense yoga style will help you build strength and cardio endurance while powering away your daily stress. Power yoga is more of a workout than a relaxation class

Zen Yoga

This traditional vinyasa inspired class integrates three key components: mindful body alignment (posture), breathing, and balance. As you slowly flow through several poses, you’ll notice that these movements are intended to deepen your awareness of your body's posture, your breath, and provide you with an opportunity to experience "becoming one" with the present moment.

This slowed down, restorative style of yoga will ease you into becoming less stressed, increased mobility and flexibility, and build a stronger more resilient self. Towards the end of each session, Kelly brings it all together with reflection and meditation. If you're looking for a more mellow yoga practice that not only challenges you physically but emphasizes breath and postural alignment, then this is for you!

Sunday Sculpt

Experience a different class each week! You will get a complete full body workout - no muscle left untouched. Enjoy fun music and high energy while increasing your strength and cardio.There will be multiple exercises for upper body, lower body, and core. Exercises can be modified to make them easier or harder as needed. Expect to have fun while being challenged!

Elemental Meditation

As spring starts to show up this month, join us for a meditation class based on the Five Elemental Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We will cover a guided standing visualization practice based on the water and wood elements to symbolize the transition from winter into spring as well as movements relating to the organ channels associated to these elements.

Most of our members know Rodrigo by the fire he brings to his group classes and training sessions, but only a few have experienced the calmness he embodies in his Zen Shiatsu treatments. He will bring this serenity as he guides you through this meditation class to get in touch with the water and wood elements within you.

Mat Pilates (Outdoor)

Join Teresa as she leads you through numerous Pilates exercises based on the 34 original exercises created by Joseph Pilates. If you're looking for a class to enhance your core strength, flexibility, and mobility, this class is for you. All skill levels are welcome to enroll as we look to create a more vital and limber body

A combination of cardio, strength, and conditioning. This class will mix intervals/drills on the indoor cycle bikes and full-body movements off the bike. Different pieces of equipment and bodyweight movements will be used to target all movement patterns, creating a full-body, challenging workout experience. Be prepared to work hard as you challenge your entire body as your workout will fly by with all the variety this class provides. Options available for all levels.

Come try Burn and Tone and get the benefits of resistance training AND cardio simultaneously! You will strengthen and tone all your muscle groups while keeping your heart rate elevated and burning fat! The workouts are circuit-based and utilize dumbbells, medicine balls, and body weight movements. This class is for people of all fitness levels and does not require any prior exercise knowledge or experience. We work out to motivate music and have lots of fun. You will leave covered in sweat, knowing that you did something great for your health!

Liz brings a new full-body workout to this class that will make you sweat! This workout class begins with a dynamic warmup and four strength exercises tailored to a HITT-style approach. The class is designed to accommodate all fitness levels, allowing you to work at your own pace. This low-rep, high-weight class promises excellent results that support and promote lean muscle while boosting your metabolism to get you in the best shape possible!

Whether you are a weightlifter, runner, fitness enthusiast, or cyclist, incorporating some exercise in the water can help elevate your game. Please join Carl on Saturdays in January as he takes you through a workout in the water and on the land to help you achieve your goals!

Join Kelly, a professional Broadway musical theater dancer, for an energetic workout that blends yoga, dance, and hip-hop! This beginner-friendly class starts with a yoga-inspired flow to center and warm up the body, then transitions into dance improvisation and a hip-hop combination. Kelly will guide you through basic choreography, rhythm, and coordination, offering modifications for all levels and more challenging variations for regulars. The class wraps up with a cool-down focused on stretching and breathing, leaving you feeling energized and confident. Build fitness and dance skills, and have fun in this dynamic, inclusive class!
